Voice of America – Learning English
For intermediate learners, VOA’s Learning English is a great multimedia source of news and information. Its audio programs and captioned videos are written using vocabulary at the intermediate and upper-beginner level. Programs are read one-third slower than normal English speed. Online texts, MP3s and podcasts let users read, listen to, and learn American English and much more.

TED Talks
This is an excellent resource for more advanced students. TED is a nonpartisan nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks. TED began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment and Design converged, and today it covers almost all topics, from science to business to global issues. You can watch dynamic videos (with optional subtitles), download audio files, and read word-for-word transcripts in more than 110 languages.
